Divij is a partner in the Firm’s disputes resolution practice. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and National Company Law Tribunals, across the Country, as well as before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. ​

Divij has advised and represented clients in various sectors such as FMCG, Banking and Finance, Hydro Power and Construction (infrastructure and real estate). He has successfully advised as well as argued on diverse issues, including levy of stamp duty, challenging of vires of levy of water tax by State of Sikkim and State of Himachal Pradesh on Hydro Power Plants operating in the respective states, on cases pertaining to disparagement, oppression and mismanagement. He regularly advises and represents Resolution Professionals, Resolution Applicants as well as the Committee of Creditors in proceedings under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code.​

Divij was instrumental in negotiating and approval of Resolution Plan of one of India’s largest Hydro Power PSU. This was the first acquisition of a company under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code by a PSU in India.​

Divij has extensive experience in commercial arbitrations pertaining to shareholder disputes, JVP disputes pertaining to Development Contracts and works contract pertaining to Hydro Power Projects.​

He regularly dedicates his time to Pro-Bono cases, some of which also have a deep impact on society at large.​

Prior to joining CMS INDUSLAW, Divij was a Partner with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India.
