Shivani Kapur Jeet is part of the Employment and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) practice and is based out of the firm’s Delhi office.
Shivani, who has over 9 years of experience, advises clients across a broad range of sectors on commercial, employment and anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC) matters concerning their operations in India. She works closely with legal, compliance and HR teams on day-to-day employment matters, commercial advisory and strategic workforce issues, with expertise across both central and state-specific labour laws.
In particular Shivani has experience advising on drafting employment contracts, HR policies and employee handbooks, employee onboarding, transfers and exits, large-scale workforce restructurings, disciplinary proceedings, and ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws and regulatory requirements.
As part of the firm’s ABAC practice, Shivani has significant experience conducting corporate investigations relating to employee misconduct, including matters involving sexual harassment, bribery, corruption, fraud, whistleblower complaints and other ethics and compliance issues. Shivani is also a certified Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) trainer and serves as an External Member on Internal Committees of several companies, where she assists with developing POSH policies, training Internal Committee members, and conducting investigations and inquiries.
Shivani has written on a variety of topics for international publications such as Lexology, Mondaq and International Employment Lawyer.
