Chinnappa is a graduate of Bengaluru University and specializes in litigation and dispute resolution.
Chinnappa regularly represents private clients as well as a wide variety of corporate clients involved in the field of banking and finance, real estate, energy and infrastructure, e-commerce, travel, hospitality and retail, before a number of dispute resolution forum, including the Supreme Court, the Karnataka High Court, the Civil and Criminal Trial Courts at Bengaluru, the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, the Debt Recovery Tribunal, the National Company Law Tribunal, the Consumer Disputes Redressal Agencies, amongst others.
He advises on disputes and laws pertaining to arbitration and conciliation, banking and finance, companies, contracts, debt recovery, employment and labour, intellectual property rights, mergers and amalgamations, transfer of property, amongst others.
Most Recently Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific 2025 recognised him as a ‘Litigation Star’ for Commercial and Transactions. He was also recognised as a ‘Rising Star’ by Asian Legal Business in their ALB India Rising Stars Edition for the year 2024. Asialaw Leading Lawyers Rankings 2024-25 recognised him as a Notable practitioner for Dispute Resolution.
