Kanika is a Partner at CMS INDUSLAW's Delhi & NCR offices and specialises in equity and debt capital markets transactions, and public M&A.
With a strong grasp of regulatory complexities and securities laws, she advises clients on a full range of capital-raising strategies (including by way of public and private transactions), balance sheet optimization, and cross-border acquisitions. She regularly works with issuers and underwriters on IPOs, QIPs, preferential allotments, and domestic and international issuances of dollar-denominated bonds, NCDs and FCCBs, amongst others; and helps them navigate compliance and achieve long-term growth.
In addition to her capital markets practice, Kanika also leads matters in healthcare and white-collar investigations, leveraging her corporate experience to provide practical and business-focused legal advice.
She has contributed to numerous publications on securities laws, including for IBLJ; and regularly contributes to articles published at leading financial dailies.
Prior to joining CMS INDUSLAW, Kanika has served as Legal Head and Compliance Lead for Fortune 500 Companies, including Stryker and Danaher (Diagnostic Platform).
