Darpan advises domestic and international clients across a range of sectors including fintech, financial services, technology platforms, and digital intermediaries. His work spans business and product structuring, regulatory strategy, commercial contracting, and implementation of data privacy and cybersecurity frameworks. He regularly supports clients on navigating complex regulatory environments, including RBI frameworks governing payments and lending, data protection laws, outsourcing and technology regulations, and evolving compliance requirements for digital businesses.
He has significant experience advising on the structuring and rollout of financial products, including credit, payment, and card-based offerings, as well as on partnerships between regulated entities and technology service providers. His work includes advising on regulatory classification, licensing considerations, risk allocation, and contractual structuring in highly regulated environments.
His in-house experience enables him to provide commercially focused and implementation-oriented advice.
