Anupam is a Partner in CMS INDUSLAW’s Transaction practice group and sits out of the Delhi office.
With over eight years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity investments, capital market transactions and regulatory advisory, Anupam advises domestic and global clients on a broad spectrum of corporate and investment matters. He is a seasoned lawyer recognized for his contribution to high-value deals, cross-border investments and regulatory advisory roles across financial services, insurance, NBFCs and related regulated sectors.
A significant part of Anupam’s practice involves working on marquee, high-profile transactions, including International Holding Company’s USD 1 billion strategic investment into Sammaan Capital and Bajaj group’s buyout of its insurance JV partner, Allianz, in its insurance joint ventures for approximately USD 3 billion.
Anupam has a specialized focus on public M&A and insurance sector deals, advising on acquisitions, capital raises and investment structuring involving regulated entities.
Prior to joining CMS INDUSLAW, Anupam was associated with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, a leading Indian law firm, for seven years
