Abeezar is a Senior Partner in CMS INDUSLAW’s DisputeResolution practice group and is based out of Mumbai office.
He brings over 35 years of experience spanning disputeresolution, arbitration, and corporate commercial transactionand advisory. His disputes practice includes representingboth domestic and international clients across sectors suchas manufacturing, technology, services, and retail before theSupreme Court of India, various High Courts, tribunals, and inboth domestic and international arbitrations. He specializes incommercial and contractual disputes including share holderdisputes for both domestic and international. In his corporatecommercial practice, Abeezar has advised on joint ventures,angel and private equity investments, shareholders’ andshare purchase agreements, technology transfers, and issuesunder FDI regulations, the Companies Act, FEMA, and othercommercial laws.
For a period for about two years Abeezar left the professionand was a Global CEO of a company investing in the energyspace.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and swimming. Healso likes to read and watch movies.
