Stuti is a Partner in the Bengaluru office of CMS INDUSLAW and regularly assists target companies, venture capital and private equity funds in relation to various stages of investment as well as acquisitions/ exits, and advises on structuring, due diligence and documentation, on both buy and sell sides.
In particular, she has experience in advising companies on their Indian regulatory requirements, domestic and international group structuring, entry into Indian markets and cross-border investment strategy, in addition to drafting and negotiating a wide range of documentation relating to venture capital and private equity investments and exits/ acquisitions. Her experience ranges across the sectors of online and offline D2C retail, nutraceuticals, food and beverages, manufacturing, B2B trading, banking/ financial services, SaaS, ed-tech, spiritual tech and the agri-tech sectors. She advises companies on their customer and vendor supply and product development contracts, conducts due diligences in these sectors, and generally advises across multiple stages of transactions – from incorporation to exit, and seed- to late-stage investments.
